This set includes radio transmitter and a receiver to make a link
between a ST60 wind sensor and its repeater unit. There is no more
need for a cable in the mast. Installation becomes easy and the
weight of cable and original mounting block is suppressed (about
1 kg). The system works with both the old or the new wind vane.
Our opinion
Very reliable technology and product:
No more need to protect the cable
from sheets and halyards or other mechanical aggressions, neither
inside the mast, nor where leaving the mast
Reduced energy consumption of the
sensor, powered by a non rechargeable battery, permits to operate
without a solar panel with limited lifetime and which needs regular
cleaning.
A user here in Brest changed
battery first after 5 years of operation without any problem.

Installation
Two screws permit to fix the transmitter on top of the mast. The
receiver connects to the back of a “Wind” repeater, there
were usually the cable coming from the mast. If you have a new model
wind vane, you have to exchange its printed circuit board. If you buy a
new one from our shop or you send your sensor, we can do this for
your.
